During my recent stay at Grimes Cottage, I found it to be precisely where my family sought solace from our bustling lives in Auckland. The cottage, comfortably set within tranquil Staithes, offered a warm refuge even amidst winter's chill. With scenic views of the harbour from the upstairs window, we appreciated the serene surroundings. The spacious outdoor courtyard provided a lovely space for the kids to play while I indulged in a rejuvenating spa treatment at the nearby Spa Scarborough. The log burner in the cozy lounge was a welcomed feature after our cycling adventures along the coast. Although mid-week seemed quieter, the weekend brought a gentle buzz to the area. Grimes Cottage presents a well-rounded experience for those wishing to unwind, with opportunities for outdoor activities and relaxation in a picturesque setting.
